Good news! The SkinVision app has been included by the Belgian government in the so-called Mhealth pyramid* this year. What does that mean? You will receive the full amount of 20 euros (the new price for a SkinVision annual subscription in Belgium) back from your health fund/mutual insurance company by submitting a declaration yourself.
Claim €20 by submitting a proof of payment from SkinVision to your health fund/mutual insurance company:
- Christelijke Mutualiteit
- Liberale Mutualiteit
- Vlaams & Neutraal Ziekenfonds
CM fully reimburses SkinVision.CM provides a compensation of up to 20 euros per calendar year on the service, purchase and subscription costs of medical apps. Thanks to this compensation, you can use SkinVision free of charge for a calendar year.
Conditions for reimbursement:
- You are a member of CM.
- SkinVision is recognized as a medical app by mHealthBelgium.
- The costs were made on or after January 1, 2023.
How do you receive reimbursement?
Provide a proof of payment from SkinVision via a CM mailbox or the My CM app.
Make sure the following details are stated on that proof of payment:
- Your name as a user of SkinVision;
- SkinVision (the name of the medical app);
- The payment date;
- The amount paid.

You can do this by sharing the invoice you received in your mail after your payment from SkinVision.
The mail is called “Your invoice from SkinVision”.
Along with the invoice, the proof of payment must contain at least the following information:

✔ SkinVision (the name of the medical app);
✔ The payment date;
✔ The amount paid.
